Wantu Blues Jam Sunday August 15 to benefit Transitional Home for homeless vets

Sent to Bill Copeland from Brenda Cadieux:
We are hosting a Blues Jam, to Benefit The Liberty House Veterans Shelter. Liberty House is N.H.’s first in the state, Transitional Home, for Homeless Veterans. All proceeds, will go directly to the cause. The event takes place, on Sunday Aug. 15th, 3:00-7:00 at The Village Trestle,Goffstown,N.H.

We are looking for help with promotion. I am hoping you would help, get the word out with an article about the event . This is a community issue, and even more so,an American issue.

Please reply and let me know if I have chosen the right path, to begin to ask for help.I am reaching out to our local news representatives, with hope that you will see the importance of the cause, and help us,help them. I am not a professional fundraiser, I am just a girl, that was touched by a story and felt I had to do something.

In this economy, I know how difficult it is for folks to reach into their pockets, and give to the needy, but these are OUR veterans,in OUR country, and they desperately need help.We are accepting donations, from local merchants, of items to raffle off.All donors will be listed as sponsors. Also, all musicians are invited to play.

I appreciate the time you have taken, to read this,
Thank you, and I look forward to hearing from you.
