The New England Music Awards ‘kickoff’ on Friday Feb 21st at an amazing venue inside The UMass Lowell Inn and Conference Center. At the event, Pavoh.org and The New England Music Awards will launch the first New England RADAR Awards by presenting the “RADAR Class of 2014” representing New England’s fastest rising musicians under the age of 21. A volunteer selection committee of industry professionals will choose the artists who will be given the opportunity to put their talents on brilliant display live at The New England Music Awards Kickoff VIP Party.

10pm Presentation of the Grassroots Award, Scene Award & Decade Award
10:30pm to 11pm The NEMA Nominee Showcase featuring 4 solo acoustic performance by: New Act of the Year Nominee; Sarah Barrios New Act of the Year Nominee: Francesca Blanchard Song Writer of the Year nominee; Chris Ross Female Performer of the Year nominee: Amy Allen and at 11pm; Jazz Act of the Year nominee “President Soup”
