Winslow Farm hosts music benefit September 14; Fat City Band to perform

WinslowFarmBillCopelandMusicNews.com just received this information from Winslow Farm, in Norton, Massachusetts. This is what Winslow Farm has coming up for their fundraising event: On Sunday, Sept 14, is the second annual Winslow Farm music benefit. This year we feature The Fat City Band and we are also please to have several other local artists performing: Patti DeRosa, David Jackson, Chris Lee, and Tully Cummings.

Winslow Farm Animal Awareness is a non- profit charitable organization devoted to the rescue and care of abandoned and mistreated animals. Established by Debra White, in 1996, Winslow Farm exists for one purpose: to provide love and care to the many animals without a home or for those that have been abused and/or neglected by their previous owners. It is a sanctuary where animals can learn to trust humans once again. Our Mission is to provide a high quality “stay-for-life” animal sanctuary, dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation, and care of mistreated and abandoned animals, to promote the prevention of animal mistreatment through quality educational programs and events, and to advocate the preservation of wildlife habitat.

Any money that we can collect before the event serves to sponsor the music. So far this we are delighted to receive sponsor donations from many individuals as well as businesses: $300 from Donors Roche Brothers; $200 Donors Deborah E. Kelly; $100 Donors Cheryl Slosek, Ferestien Feed & Farm Supply, Collette and Bryan Cowger, Camille Breeze/Museum Textile Services; $50 Donors Windhover Veterinary Center.

All the money we collect at the door will go to farm operations. The event runs 12:00 noon – 5:00 pm. People can roam with the animals as well as sit in the paddock area with the music. Door donations are
$20.
