Jacy Dawn invites fans to help her make her next CD

To all of my Friends, Family & Fans,

Tis the season of GIVING….and this season…..I AM NEEDING YOUR HELP!!!

I don’t know how I have been blessed so much in my life with opportunities to make music and share it with everyone I love. It seems like everything I do, always comes back to YOU…the people who love me and have supported me since I was little! I have always tried to live by the saying “You make a living out of what you get. You make a life out of what you give” And this time, I am asking you to give!

I have been given the opportunity to record a brand new album and I have just launched a project to start the recording process, because I can’t do it without your help!

I have teamed up withKickStarter to raise the funds that I will need to make this album. Kickstarteris all about keeping the artists in control and allowing YOU to act as my record label!

This is an amazing opportunity and it keeps us connected and focuses on what really matters – the music. In order to make this album a reality… I will need you to help me. In order to get this album off the ground, I will need to raise $2,500, by January 19th, 2012. Whether you can afford to donate $25 or $250…Every “pledge” counts and gets us closer to the goal of making the new album! I have great musicians, writers and singers lined up and know this will be my best album yet!

I only have 60 days to make this a reality…and if I don’t reach my goal of $2,500 we will not be able to complete our project and you will not be charged for your pledge!

PLEASE check out and read the attached Press Release below!

You can DONATE to my project here… http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/15805173/lets-make-my-new-album-together

In return for your pledges I have put together an incredible list of REWARDS just for you.. Really amazing and unique packages like personally autographed CDs, T-Shirts, Mentions in my CD insert, An invite to the CD release party and so much more!!!

Once you see all that my Kickstarter Projectis offering, I hope you’ll be on board – Another way you can help is to post the link above on your facebook wall, or tweet it to your friends, forward the emai l or tell EVERYONE YOU know about my project!

LET’S MAKE AN ALBUM TOGETHER!..I can’t do it with YOU!

Lots of Love and HAPPY THANKSGIVING!

JACY DAWN PARTNERS WITH KICKSTARTER, HOPING TO “KICK START” HER 3rd ALBUM!
Nashville, TN. (November 20, 2011) The pride of Chelmsford, Massachusetts and current Nashville
Singer/Songwriter Jacy Dawn plans to relase her 3rd studio album with the completeion of “Project

Kickstarter,” a company set up to enhance opportunities for artists who need financial suppot to pursue their dreams.

Kickstarter is the largest funding platform for creative projects in the world. Dawn currrently has a page set up on the Kickstarter website which will allow her fan base to contribute directly and be a hands on part of her upcoming album release.

Along with writing and co-writing every song for the upcoming album, Dawn plans to have some guest artists and musicians join her in the studio. With many friends in the entertainment industry, Dawn says “the best part of making music is who you get to share the experiences with”

Dawn has gained much acclaim with her long list of performance credits that include singing for President Bill Clinton, when he was in office and performing opening slots for superstars such as Martina McBride, LeAnn Rimes, Tanya Tucker, JoDee Messina, Darius Rucker, Willie Nelson, Vince Gill and Carlene Carter to name a few. Her song writing credits include 8 cuts since 2009 by artists in the States as well as Canada. Her song “When You’re Around” which was co-written with Nashville songwriter’s Mark Oliverius and Hannah Ellis has been released on Ellis’ debut album and is gaining much critical acclaim. Dawn’s “I’m Done” co-written with Singer/Songwriter, Kelly Lang is Lang’s current single and one of three cuts Dawn has on Lang’s lastest studio release “11:11”.

Dawn continues to gain attention from her peers in entertainment with Twitter followers that include everyone from Singing superstars Amy Grant and Kellie Pickler to Actress Jane Leeves. She has a steady stream of hit songwriters on her list of co-writes that include Steve Dean (cuts by Rodney Atkins, Reba, Alabama, George Strait) Kris Bergsnes (cuts by Wynonna, Tim McGraw, Vince Gill) Kelly Lang (cuts by Lorrie Morgan, Crystal Gayle, Ricky Skaggs) and Karen Staley (cuts by Faith Hill, Dolly Parton, Terri Clark) to name a few.

Dawn is partnered with Bluewater Music as an administer to her music. With her career going full speed ahead, the next obvious step is a new album. She will release music that will be available to fans as soon as she can raise enough money to complete the project.

Dawn isn’t taking donations without giving back tenfold. Perks for donating to her album include everything from having your name in her album cover credits to attending the album release party. Dawn feels that if she offers a hands on experience to her fans, keeping that close bond, it will be a win/win situation for everyone involved. Dawn even plans on allowing her fans to help in the choosing of which songs will be recorded and the subject matters of each tune.

Dawn says “It’s so hard to put a full studio album together on a tight budget. You want the best possible results and in order to do that, I am running short. I want to deliver a beautifully finished product to the fans and can only do that with their help. I am setting a goal of $2,500. If I do not meet that goal, all of the money will be returned to the donors and we will not be able to complete the project. Although it seems like a large amount, if 250 people each donate $10, we will meet our goal and everyone will have equal opportunity to be a part of something I think will be great in the end!”

Dawn finished by saying “I’ve spent so much time and energy writing this new material, I just want to chance for everyone to hear it and I can’t do it without their direct help, support and money. Kickstarter is very selective with who they chose to support and I was lucky enough to be one of the few selected. Donations can be made directly to them and I will be so grateful to anyone who feels they can support me in this way!”
