The Annual Onset Bay Blues Festival this Saturday, August 5th is the event’s 25th anniversary. Festival organizer, Gil Correia, will be headlining the festival with his own act, Gil Correia And The Shameless.
The Shameless are drummer Nick Toscano, bassist Scott Cormier, and keyboardist Shinichi Otso.
Also performing at this Saturday’s Onset Bay Blues Festival will be Jerry Portnoy, Diane Blue, Kid Bangham, James Montgomery, Greg Piccallo, Willie J. Laws band, Johnny Hoy & The Bluefish, and The GrooveaLottos.
Now in it’s 25th year, the Onset Blues Festival is one of the longest running blues festivals in New England. Some of the region’s most highly-acclaimed blues acts are chosen to perform.
Set in the Victorian village of Onset, the concert overlooks one of the most picturesque harbors in New England.
The Onset Blues Festival is operated by Onset Bay Association, a 501 (c) 3 non-profit civic organization that promotes and organizes over 30 annual events that showcase the Onset Village community.
The event runs from noon until 8:30 p.m. at Prospect Park in Onset, Massachusetts.
